Riding 3600km across Australia for Cystic Fibrosis
Pro Electric Bikes is excited to be sponsoring Walter van Praag (below) on his crazy ride across Australia to inspire people with Cystic Fibrosis and other disabilities! They kick off from Devonport, Tasmania this March. Training on the Aseako Electric Bike has begun…
For those who don’t know, Cystic Fibrosis is a chronic condition which causes Walter to function at only 35% lung capacity. This ride is going to be a huge inspiration to people with CF and other disabilities.
We sponsored Walter with a Zoco Electric Bike for his Vietnam to Singapore trip in 2012. Because that was a huge success, we’re doing it again!
Walter and his team of brave friends will ride 3600km from Devonport to Albany across the Nullarbor plain on our Aseako electric bikes.
The cross the Nullarbor cycling team is hoping to raise $10000 for the Australian CF Foundation. Be sure to watch out for Walter when he rides into your city! Like our Facebook page to keep up. We’ll also be rooting for him on our blog.
